- Academy of Construction and Design
–The Academy of Construction and Design at Cardozo Senior
High School opened in September 2005, and brought construction
education and training programs back to District of Columbia Public
Schools. Academy students can pursue academic requirements for
high school graduation while gaining pre-apprenticeship training
in the skilled construction trades. More

- D.C. Apprenticeship Academy
– The D.C. Academy is a professional development resource
for employees of firms and contractors registered with the District
of Columbia Office of Apprenticeship. The Apprenticeship Academy
began operations in 2007, with approval from the government of
the District of Columbia, and is the sole apprenticeship-related
skilled trades training site in the District. More

- Green Jobs Training –
In partnership with the Green Builders Council of D.C., the Foundation
is a registered Green Advantage™ training provider, offering
environmental awareness curriculum for students and certification
for industry professionals seeking Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) ratings from the U.S. Green Building Council.
- Adult Education – The
Foundation partners with District Dept of Employment Services
to offer pre-apprenticeship training for District residents.
