  • Architects, Contractors & Engineers (ACE) Program – visiting professionals provide in-school mentoring to Academy students to reinforce classroom learning and motivate students for career success.
  • Architects in Schools – lessons and learning activities with visiting professionals introduce students to language, math, science and visual arts concepts through awareness and understanding of Architecture and the built environment.
  • Blue Skye Construction – industry employer providing internship and employment opportunities to help Academy students transition from school to careers.
  • D.C. Habitat for Humanity – partnership providing hands-on learning experiences for Academy students participating at homebuilding sites in the District.
  • Green Advantage™ – developers of Your Role in the Green Environment, a learning module for entry-level trade professionals or any student wanting to learn about the green environment, green construction practices and green building rating systems. The Foundation’s Green Advantage™ training and certification course is the first green curriculum approved for use in D.C. Public Schools career and technical education.
  • National Center for Construction Education and Research – NCCER’s nationally accredited construction training curriculum provides the basis for learning and assessment at Cardozo Academy. The D.C. Students Construction Trades Foundation is the only NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor in the District of Columbia.
