For Job Seekers

Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training and related instruction. Registered Apprenticeship is a training system that produces highly skilled workers to meet the demands of today’s workplace.

Registered Apprentices work for sponsor companies while attending classes in the D.C. Apprenticeship Academy. Enrollment is open to employees of firms and contractors registered with the District of Columbia Office of Apprenticeship.
