Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job
training and related instruction. Registered Apprenticeship is a
training system that produces highly skilled workers to meet the
demands of today’s workplace.
Registered Apprentices work for sponsor companies
while attending classes in the D.C. Apprenticeship Academy. Enrollment
is open to employees of firms and contractors registered with the
District of Columbia Office of Apprenticeship.

Carpentry
