For Apprentices
As a registered apprentice, you keep a busy schedule
working full time and taking related instruction classes to complete
your apprenticeship. Why not attend classes at a state-of-the-art
facility close to home, right here in the District?
Upon completion of your program, you will receive
a Certificate of Completion from the D.C. Office of Apprenticeship,
with credentials and documentation of your apprenticeship training
in the National Registry of the National Center for Construction
Education and Research.
Get credentialed in Certified Apprenticeship Programs
in your trade specialty:
- Carpentry – Concrete Form Building
- Electrical
- HVAC-R
- Masonry
- Plumbing
All classes are held in the Academy of Construction
and Design at Cardozo Senior High School in Washington, DC. The
state-of-the-art training facility features secured, lighted access
with ample adjacent parking and Metro stations nearby.

programs at the D.C. Apprenticeship Academy. Discounted tuition
rates are available for District residents.
